Seminar "Mehmet Akif Ersoy's Panel in the Context of War, Independence and Civilization" was held at Comrat State University

Mehmet Akif Ersoy Panel in the Context of War, Independence and Civilization Within the scope of the Events of the Century of Turkey-Educational Diplomacy seminars within the body of Comrat State University, the "Mehmet Akif Ersoy Panel in the Context of War, Independence and Civilization" was organized  on March 18, 2024 by the Education Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau. The program, which started with the singing of the national anthems, was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Comrat Mr. Adnan HAYAL, TİKA Chisinau Coordinator Mr. Tarık METE, Education Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau Mr. Cengiz GÜZELOLUK, Rector of Comrat State University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei ZAHARIYA, Kongaz Süleyman Demirel Turkish-Moldovan High School Principal Mr. Ergin YILMAZ, academicians, teachers and students. After the opening and greeting speeches, Eskişehir Osmangazi University Department of Turkish Language and Literature Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Soner AKPINAR, who took the floor as an invited speaker in the panel, delivered his speech titled "Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Turkey's Utopia". The other speakers of the panel were Assist. Prof. Burcu YILMAZ ÇEBİN "Mehmet Âkif Ersoy on the Spiritual Front of the Çanakkale Victory", Lecturer. Asst. Dr. Seyfullah Öztürk delivered a speech titled "Independence Projections in Mehmet Âkif Ersoy Around the National Anthem". In the panel, it was stated that the years of the War of Independence were the times when the Turkish nation faced one of the most difficult tests, that the nation did not let the scoundrels come to its homeland, as Mehmet Akif Ersoy advised in the verses of the National Anthem, and that the National Struggle was started and victory was achieved under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Commander-in-Chief of the War of Independence, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, with great effort, and with the proclamation of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, the third largest state in Anatolia, many It was emphasized that a new era was stepped into that included the stage and struggle, that national unity and solidarity were achieved not only at the front and in the parliament but also in all segments of society, and that the Great Turkish poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy was one of the spiritual pioneers of the Turkish people in this process. The panel ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation.
