On April 20, 2024 the representatives of the Comrat State University staff - Oxana Curteva, dr., assoc. prof., acting dean of the Faculty of National Culture; Serghey Horozov, dr., assoc. prof.; Natalia Nacioglo, the head of CSU Department of Quality Management and Educational Process; Natalia Topal, the head of the Center for Continuing Education; Inna Zlatovcena, the head of the Centre for Professional Guidance and Career Development – participated in the training "Debunking misinformation about the EU and its integration process" organized for teachers.
The training was organized by the INTERNATIONAL REPUBLICAN INSTITUTE (IRI) National Office in Moldova in cooperation with the USAID Office in the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.
The event was conducted by IRI experts: Mr. Piotr Kaczynski,the journalist of Polish and Brussels media, Conner’s political advisor in the European Parliament, the official trainer of the European Commission, and Mr. Krzysztof Lisk - IRI Resident Program Director, former member of the Polish Sejm and European Parliament.
The training addressed such issues of European integration as:
- A Brief History of the EU;
- The European Parliament and Its Role in the Legislative Process: an Inside View;
- The EU: Single Market, Cohesion, Agriculture, Climate, the 4 Freedoms of the EU, Digital Technologies, etc.
The representatives of Comrat State University took an active part in the training exercises and discussed various issues and problems of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova.
