REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF ARTICLES

Page parameters: upper and lower margins — 3.85 cm, left and right-4.25 cm. Font Times New Roman, size 12 pt. The interval is single, the paragraph indent is 0.5 cm.

Notes to the text are made in the form of page-by-page footnotes. The sources are arranged in the form of a non-text bibliographic list (in alphabetical order). Sources in foreign languages should be placed behind sources in Russian (see the sample design of the article below). All authors must be indicated in the bibliographic description. References to sources are made in the text in square brackets indicating the source, the year of publication and the cited pages: [Ivanov, 1999, p. 56] or [Materials for the dictionary..., 1999, p. 67]. Non-scientific publications (normative documents, archival materials), Internet sources with variable content without specifying specific material (except for electronic publications that can be bibliographically described), blogs, forums, etc., as well as author's comments should be placed in footnotes (footnotes).

In linguistic articles, illustrative material (a word, a phraseological unit, a phrase, a sentence, etc.) in the text of the article is italicized; the interpretation of the meaning of the word and sema is enclosed in single quotes‘...’. The quote is enclosed in typographic quotation marks (“ ...”); the inner quote is highlighted with vertical quotation marks ("... "). The link to the source of the fragment of someone else's text given as an illustrative material is given after the example in parentheses: Supervision of the activities of banks should be in safe hands (Novaya Gazeta. 2007. № 7). Illustrative material from Internet sources is accompanied by a link to an Internet resource with an indication of the date of application.

Electronic versions of drawings (only in .png, .gif, .jpg, .tif formats) should be additionally attached as separate files. Captions to figures and tables should be made in two languages: Russian and English.

It is necessary to attach the files of the non-standard fonts used (.ttf).

The mandatory English-language version of the References List is placed in the article, taking into account the recommendations given below.

The set of documents sent, in addition to the text of the article, should include two separate files. In the first additional file "Author's Last Name _ Information about the author", the author places the following information in Russian:

  • The author's full surname, first name.
  • The exact official name of the place of work, position, academic degree, academic title of the author.
  • Contact information (business address with postal code, office phone numbers, fax, e-mail).
  • The title of the article.
  • Annotation (at least 80 words).
  • Keywords: each word or phrase is separated from the other by a comma.
  • UDC code.

In English, all the points are repeated, except for the last one. A detailed abstract in English (item 5) should contain 250 words. It must be accompanied by a Russian-language version of the expanded annotation.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TRANSLITERATION OF THE LIST OF REFERENCES (REFERENCES)

The translation of a Russian-language bibliographic reference into English consists of the following parts, separated by point:

  • transliteration of the list of authors;
  • transliteration of the title of a book, article or abstract and translation of the title into English in square brackets;
  • for the article: transliteration of the name of the journal (scientific conference) and in square brackets the translation of the name of the journal (scientific conference). The title of the publication is highlighted in italics, separated by a point;
  • output data (place of publication, year, issue number, number of pages) are provided in English. It is necessary to specify the official English version of the publisher's name (usually indicated on the journal's website), if there is no such version, then a transliteration is provided.
  • If the author is a foreigner in a Russian or foreign source (English, German, French, etc.), then you can not transliterate his first and last name, you need to find them in the original spelling. For example: F. V. Nietzsche – F. V. Nitsshe — F. W. Nietzsche.
  • For the description of books (monographs, textbooks, etc.), the number of pages is indicated (235 p.), for articles – the range of pages (pp. 220-222).
  • On the website http://translit.ru/ you can use the program for transliterating Russian text into Latin for free. Sequence of actions:
  • On the website, select the BGN standard. Before placing the text in the working field and before starting transliteration, make sure that you have chosen the BGN standard.
  • Put the bibliographic references from the Russian-language list in the working field and click the "translit" button. Copy the resulting text and continue working with it – make the necessary additions and changes.
