Between 03.02.2020 - 07.02.2020 the Assoc. Prof., Dr. İlkay NOYAN YALMAN, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Halil İbrahim KAYA and Dr.Şerife Merve KOŞAROĞLU from Sivas Cumhuriyet University visited Comrat State University within the framework of the Erasmus + program. The guests from the Republic of Turkey visited the Faculty of Economics, and had a meeting with the Turkish students studying at Comrat State University. In accordance with the ERASMUS + programme the doctors delivered lectures in Economics for the first- and second-year students. They also invited our university professors and students to visit Sivas State University.
The visitors from Sivas Cumhuriyet University noted that the people in Gagauzia are open and hospitable and emphasized the fact that the brotherly ties between the Turkish and Gagauz peoples should be strengthened and expanded. When asked about their impressions of Comrat University, the guests replied they found it cosy and well-maintained (it is worth noting that 55,000 students study at Sivas Cumhuriyet University). Despite the fact that this is their first visit to Gagauzia, the colleagues from Turkey hope to visit the Autonomy in the future.
