At the Department of Foreign Languages of Comrat State University on February 11, 2020 was organized the workshop on modern trends of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The workshop was organized as a part of the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference “Science. Education. Culture” and was delivered by Danielle M. Aldawood, Ph.D., Assistant Professor and ESOL Coordinator. The academic staff, second and third year students who attended the workshop learned about Utilizing Metacognitive Assessments, using EdPuzzle and Padlet in teaching English.
The workshop participants were introduced to a variety of effective and practical exercises for teaching English and were provided with printed materials and ideas for English lessons. Certificates of Completion were provided to all the participants at the end of the workshop.
