On December 21, 2023, at the Department of Foreign Languages of Comrat State University, a preliminary defense of master’s theses was held in the group of MGYA-22, the specialty “Teaching Germanic Languages at Educational Institutions in Multiethnic Environment”. This pre-defense is organized within a month before the state commission starts its working. The main defense is scheduled for January 25, 2024.

Preliminary defense of master’s theses was carried out by students of the graduating department in front of the pre-defense committee in the presence of the head of the department. The main objectives were the following: review and discussion of the main provisions of the work, the degree of preparation of master’s theses for the defense, as well as moral support and assistance in delivering presentations.

The pre-defense was a defense rehearsal, where undergraduates were able to not only test their reports, but also practice answering questions about the essence of their work. Comments and suggestions on master’s theses are recorded in the minutes of the commission meeting and will be taken into account by master’s students when preparing their work for the defense in front of the state committee.

Based on the results of the pre-defense of master’s theses, a proposal was issued for admission to the defense of 8 students.
