The Black Sea Universities Network in partnership with Boğaziçi University of Istanbul, is preparing the organization of a special session at the 45th IAEE International Conference in Istanbul.

The Conference titled “Energy Sustainability, Security, Efficiency and Accessibility in a Time of Transition”, will address issues of oil and gas security, climate change and limiting greenhouse gas emissions, uncertainties in energy prices and facing the world in meeting future energy needs and long-term technology options. The special session that we have prepared shall emphasis on the issues that are specific for the Black Sea, Caucasus and Balkan regions.

In this respect, we kindly ask you to distribute this invitation to the faculties, departments and research groups of your university, that might be interested to contribute to the proposed session on the security, sustainability and affordability of energy in the Black Sea, Caucasus and the Balkans.
