On June 16-17, 2025, in accordance with the implementation of the objectives of the international educational project REFLECT – Phase II, a seminar “Quality Peer-to-Peer Learning in the Republic of Moldova” was held. The participants of the meeting were the partner universities of the project, which make up the university consortium: Comrat State University, State Pedagogical University “Ion Creanga”, Moldova State University, Bălți State University “Alecu Russo”, Cahul State University “Bogdan Petriceicu-Hașdeu”, with the assistance of experts from the Pedagogical University of Zurich (Switzerland) - Corinna Borer, Wiltrud Weidinger and Marin Dolința.
The meeting of partner universities included informative presentations reflecting the key stages of the implementation of the REFLECT peer learning programme. Each university presented the results of its work, including:
– planning and organizing trainings under the REFLECT programme;
– a detailed training programme focused on developing professional reflection and pedagogical interaction;
– experience of implementing trainings, as well as the practice of mentoring as an integral element of supporting participants;
– analysis of the results obtained, identified difficulties, lessons learned and valuable ideas.
All the participants mentioned that the REFLECT programme has become a powerful tool for developing the academic community, strengthened the practice of exchanging experiences and allowed them to take a fresh look at the mechanisms for supporting professional growth. It was an intensive experience of mutual learning, joint planning and reflection on advanced methods of peer learning.
Each university presented its achievements in the field of peer learning, best practices, problems and lessons learned in the process of mentoring and implementing the REFLECT programme.
New stages of cooperation are ahead. The universities outlined prospects for expanding and deepening the partnership, including subsequent trainings, exchanges and joint events.
