Milli Kultura Fakultetinin üüredicisi zamana uygun okul dersliklerinin hazırlanması için üüretmä kurslarını geçti

Oxana Curteva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor, participated in a series of training activities devoted to the development of modern school textbooks and teaching and methodological materials.

The first stage of the training took place in May–June 2026 and focused on the functional integration of new areas of education into school curricula and textbooks. The programme included online sessions and face-to-face training held from 2 to 4 June at the “Clasa Viitorului” centre in Chișinău.

The participants explored opportunities to incorporate such relevant areas as education for health and well-being, sustainable development, peace, equality and inclusion, media literacy, global citizenship, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and values education into textbook content. The programme also addressed the development of digital competencies and the use of artificial intelligence. The training sessions were conducted by specialists from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, university lecturers and experts from specialised organisations.

The course entitled “Best Practices in School Textbook Development”, held from 11 to 13 August 2026 at the CyberCOR Centre of the Technical University of Moldova, continued this professional development. The sessions were delivered by authors, editors and educational content developers from Estonia, representing the Avita publishing house, Tallinn University and the University of Tartu, as well as by experts from the Republic of Moldova.

The course examined the relationships between the curriculum, the textbook, the teacher’s professional activities and the pupil’s learning activities. Particular attention was given to the functional design of textbooks, copyright, digital educational resources, the opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence, interdisciplinary integration, the development of differentiated tasks and the alignment of textbook structure with the logic of the lesson.

During the practical sessions, participants analysed existing teaching materials, assessed whether texts and tasks corresponded to the intended learning outcomes, developed tasks of varying levels of complexity, and discussed ways to support pupils’ independent thinking and problem-solving skills.

The knowledge and practical experience gained will be applied to the development of modern educational content that takes into account pupils’ age-related characteristics, the requirements of the national curriculum and current trends in educational development.

The participation of a representative of Comrat State University in this programme contributes to strengthening the university’s expert capacity and expands the opportunities available to its academic staff in the development of high-quality textbooks and new-generation educational resources.
