Dimina Alexandra, the student at the Faculty of National Culture at Comrat State University, majoring in the Teaching of Gagauz Language and Literature in Pre-University Educational Institutions, participated in the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies (SMS) program at Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Türkiye, from February 6, 2024, to June 6, 2024. During these four months, she studied the Turkish language and literature while immersing herself in the culture of the country. The program not only improved her language skills but also allowed her to learn a great deal about the life, traditions, and customs of the Republic of Turkey, draw parallels between the Gagauz and Turkish languages, and conduct small research projects in the field of traditions. The study of Turkish language and literature became a key part of Alexandra Dimina's student mobility program. She actively participated in language classes, cultural events, and conferences. At the Faculty of Pedagogy in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, at the request of Professor Birsel Oruç Arslan, Alexandra practiced teaching Russian language courses, which lasted three months. This was a very valuable experience for her that will aid her future teaching career. Upon completing the course, Alexandra Dimina received a diploma-certificate. During her stay in the Republic of Türkiye, Alexandra also traveled to other cities, such as Ankara and Eskişehir. In Ankara, she visited the mausoleum of Kemal Atatürk, which left a lasting impression on her. Throughout the student mobility program, Alexandra also had the opportunity to meet professors and researchers from Türkiye. Invited by Professor Ruhi İnanç, she participated in the IX Congress dedicated to the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, where she met academic researchers from various higher education institutions in Türkiye. Alexandra Dimina expresses her sincere gratitude to the administration, the international department of Comrat State University, the EU fund, and Balıkesir Üniversitesi for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program. She especially appreciates the university for its support and organization of this unique experience, which enriched her both personally and professionally. This experience has inspired her to further develop in the field of intercultural communication and to deepen her studies of the languages and cultures of Turkic peoples.
