Dear colleagues, dear friends! I am glad to welcome you to our website www//kdu.md, dedicated to Comrat State University (CSU). Our university can rightfully be called the highest school of the ATU Gagauzia region, destined to become a center of science, education, and culture. Today, CSU is part of the world scientific and educational space, built on preserving the high traditions of a prestigious classical university. We live in a time when the key criteria of professional effectiveness and the fundamental organizational principles of society are changing radically. The main strategic resource of modern education is becoming the innovative creative potential of the educators involved in the educational process. It has become standard practice to organize scientific conferences, symposiums, and round tables with the participation of academic staff from various universities, both within the country and from abroad; their aims are to create a platform for the exchange of scientific and research experience that serves as a starting point for subsequent large-scale scientific projects and studies; to help expand the scientific and educational potential and space, and its horizons; and to bring researchers and scholars together to discuss the most important contemporary perspectives and to search for new solutions across various fields of research.

Dear colleagues! Today, Comrat State University is one of the main pillars of progress in the ATU Gagauzia. The development of university science and education is ever more closely tied to the priorities of our region, namely: the establishment, on the basis of CSU, of an IT Hub for the entire region, the founding of new modern enterprises by CSU graduates, the use of modern educational technologies in Gagauzia's educational institutions by CSU graduates, the training of staff for bodies of local public administration, and much more. Thus, at a university with 30 years of history, loyalty to the traditions of classical universities is fully combined with the latest approaches to teaching and scholarly activity. We successfully implement a multi-level education system based on modern standards, and the Bachelor's and Master's degree directions are each year replenished with new, high-demand educational programs. At present, the university community is reaching new frontiers in its professional and pedagogical activity, which is defined by dynamic development and creative exploration, and by fostering in students erudition and culture, including a rich spiritual world and a high level of competence. The broad profile of study programs and the skills acquired allow graduates to continuously improve in the course of their professional activity and, when necessary, to master related specialties. Today we can confidently say that dual education is being successfully implemented at CSU. To date, the training of highly qualified specialists is a task not of a single institution taken in isolation, but of the entire national education system as a whole. In this regard, Comrat State University — as the educational, scientific, and cultural center of Gagauzia — creates every prerequisite for uniting the scientific and educational potential of today's youth, forming a common field for the exchange of views, experience, and mutual cooperation. In this context, the scholarly events organized at Comrat State University promote the integration of science, education, and research in studying the historical path of the peoples living in Moldova and in preserving the fine traditions of the spiritual and moral upbringing of the young generation of today. This is extremely important not only for scholars who are already established and those who are developing, but even more so for young researchers and students. Today, Comrat State University holds a leading position among the country's universities and has a worthy rating among universities. The university has accumulated enormous intellectual, organizational, and cultural potential to ensure its further dynamic and balanced development in the spirit of the times in a changing world. Various international programs for the exchange and mobility of faculty and students are being implemented successfully. International centers are operating successfully, which makes our university modern and open to cooperation. The academic exchange programs in which our university's scholars take part involve sharing best practices in various fields and areas of activity. This is the guarantee for solving problems and for the positive development of modern trends in education, science, and culture.
