Academic Mobility of Turkish Professors Successfully Concluded at Comrat State University under the Erasmus+ Programme

From July 7 to 11, 2025, Comrat State University hosted professors from Türkiye within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme. Five professors from two leading Turkish universities — Pamukkale University and Aksaray University — participated in the academic mobility.

Throughout the week, the guests engaged in an active academic and cultural programme. The professors met with the administration and academic staff of CSU and held open lectures and seminars in their fields: mathematics teaching, English language and literature, pedagogy, and communication. Special attention was given to meetings held at the Department of Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics, and the Department of Foreign Languages. During the meetings, the Turkish professors presented their universities, faculties, and departments, shared details about their educational processes, academic courses, and teaching methodologies. CSU professors and students had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss shared approaches to education, and exchange professional experience.

The programme concluded with a final meeting with the university administration, during which participants summarized the outcomes of the visit and shared their impressions of Moldova and Gagauzia. It is important to note that Erasmus+ provides not only academic but also cultural opportunities — the guests had the chance to explore local landmarks and cultural traditions. On the final day of the visit, a formal certificate award ceremony was held, where gratitude was expressed for the valuable contribution to the development of international cooperation and the university’s academic process.

Comrat State University extends its sincere appreciation to Pamukkale University and Aksaray University for their successful cooperation, the active participation of their professors, and their contribution to the development of international academic partnership. We look forward to continuing fruitful collaboration within Erasmus+ and to implementing new joint initiatives in the future.
