On October 17, 2024, a seminar on the topic "Organization of the activities of a student focus group within the framework of the implementation of the international project" (KA 220-HED-47/05-10-2023) was organized and conducted by the team of the project UNI HEALTH – Academic Partnership for the Health Improvement of Youth with Health Disorders and Special Needs at Comrat State University. The seminar was attended by students representing all faculties of the university. Most of the participating students formed the focus group that was actively involved in the implementation of the project's objectives. Based on the results of a survey conducted among the students to identify problematic aspects of their health, a target group of 15 people was formed. The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the results of the first phase of the UNI HEALTH project, as well as to introduce students to the program of upcoming activities, which include a series of psychological training and physical wellness sessions. The project coordinator, Assoc. Prof., Dr., Oxana Curteva, presented the main goals and objectives of the project, noting the achievements of the first phase and outlining the upcoming prospects. Members of the working group, Assist., Lect. Liudmila Ibrișim and Lect. Dr. Stela Cucherianu, , demonstrated the results of research on the psychological condition of students and their readiness to participate in the project. Training programs aimed at improving the stress resistance of the project's beneficiaries were presented. Assoc. Prof., Dr., and member of the working group Angela Polevaia-Secereanu , presented a program aimed at improving the physical fitness of students aged 17 to 25 with health disorders and special needs. The program focuses on improving the physical and mental health of these students through wellness practices such as breathing exercises, Wushu, and Eastern martial arts, along with regular health monitoring of the participants. Assoc. Prof., Dr., and Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations at Comrat State University Svetlana Genova, , emphasized the importance and relevance of this international project in improving the health of the student youth. Concluding the seminar, Assoc. Prof., Dr., Oxana Curteva, institutional coordinator of the project, thanked the participants and outlined the plans for the further development of the UNI HEALTH project, aimed at comprehensive support for students with special needs.
