On June 4, 2025, the Department of Gagauz Philology and History at Comrat State University hosted the defense of master’s theses by students of the program 011 Educational Sciences. Teaching Gagauz Language and Literature in Pre-University Institutions.
Twelve students successfully completed the academic curriculum, passed their pedagogical internship and pre-defense stage, and were admitted by the departmental board to defend their theses before the State Examination Commission.
The presented theses were prepared in accordance with the Regulations on Writing and Defending Master's Theses at CSU and underwent plagiarism checks using the “Antiplagiat” system, which confirmed a high level of originality.
The defenses were conducted in an open session of the State Commission in a formal academic atmosphere. The commission included educators with the highest didactic qualifications and experienced practitioners in teaching Gagauz language and literature.
The Chair of the Commission emphasized the relevance of the presented research. Graduates demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and research competence: they collected extensive scientific material, studied and analyzed it independently, used recent literature and IT tools, and formulated well-grounded conclusions. It is important to note that the theses have a practical-scientific value and can be used by Gagauz language teachers in their professional work.
Commission members also praised the research skills of the students, their proficiency in integrating IT technologies into education, and their ability to engage in academic discussions and defend their positions.
As a result, the thesis defenses were successful, and the commission highly rated the works presented by the MPG-23 group graduates.
