On April 26, 2024 the Department of Foreign Languages of CSU successfully organized the work of the section “Philology: Issues of Linguistics, Linguodidactics and Literature Studies” within the framework of the student scientific and practical conference with international participation ““The Role of Education in Training Competitive Specialists. Students’ Research – 2024”
The students of the first cycle and second cycle of Foreign Languages Department and the Department of Romanian and Slavonic Philology participated in the conference.
The reports were presented according to the announced thematic directions of the section. All the reports were accompanied by informative presentations. The students’ speeches aroused keen interest of the audience, the speakers were asked questions on the topics of the reports; fresh ideas were expressed. The participants, in turn, gained not only the experience of independent research and report writing, but also the skill of speaking in front of the public.
The organizers and participants of the student scientific and practical conference with all responsibility approached their work, thanks to which this event was held at a high level.
All participants were awarded certificates.
Within the framework of the conference there was a competition of the best research works, according to the results of which the winners were recognized:

The aim of the student conference was to popularize the research activity of students as an effective means of self-realization of intellectual and creative development.
Conducting philological research helps students to form not only general cultural and linguistic competences, but also to develop professional skills, improve the experience of using language in their future professional activity.
