The master's student from the Faculty of National Culture at Comrat State University participated in the Erasmus+ program

The master's student specializing in "Teaching Germanic Languages in Educational Institutions in a Multicultural Environment," Eduard Peni, participated in the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies (SMS) academic mobility program. As part of the program, from October 2, 2024, to February 2, 2025, he studied at Anadolu Üniversitesi (Eskişehir, Turkiye).

Participation in Erasmus+ was not only an opportunity for the master's student to experience a new educational environment but also a valuable experience in getting acquainted with a different teaching system. Studying at Anadolu Üniversitesi allowed him to explore innovative methodologies, observe alternative pedagogical approaches, and gain insights from highly qualified professors specializing in linguistics and foreign language teaching methodologies.

Beyond the educational aspect, cultural enrichment played a significant role in the program. Interaction with international students and Turkish Erasmus+ coordinators contributed to the development of intercultural competence and facilitated adaptation. The coordinators provided support at every stage of his stay, assisting with organizational matters and introducing local traditions. Living in Eskişehir allowed him to immerse himself in Turkish culture, visit historical landmarks, museums, and cultural centers. In their free time, students actively explored the city and traveled to different regions of Turkiye, broadening their horizons and discovering the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The Erasmus+ program also created opportunities for an active social life. Regular international meetings, cultural evenings, excursions, and language clubs were organized, where students improved their English skills while discussing various aspects of education and life in different countries. Particularly valuable was the exchange of experiences and perspectives with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering professional and personal development.

Participation in the program became an important milestone in the master's student's academic and personal growth. The acquired knowledge, intercultural experience, and interaction with leading specialists in foreign language teaching provide a solid foundation for his future career.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Erasmus+ program and Anadolu Üniversitesi for the opportunity to study in an international academic environment, for their warm welcome, and for their all-round support. We hope that our collaboration will continue to grow, strengthening academic ties and contributing to the implementation of new educational initiatives.
