In the period 04.02.2024 – 06.02.2024, the Comrat State University team members of the project QFORTE – Erasmus+ project “Enhancement of Quality Assurance in Higher Education System in Moldova (ref. No: 618742-EPP-1-2020-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP), together with the representatives of partner-universities from Moldova, took part in the workshops, was held at the University of Leipzig (Germany).
Comrat State University was represented by the Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei ZAHARIA, the Vice-Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gheorghe SULT, the project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tatiana RACOVCENA, the head of the CSU Department of Quality Management and Educational Process Natalia NACIOGLO and the members of the project team: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raisa COVRICOVA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria IANIOGLO, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nadejda IANIOGLO and the inspector of the CSU Department of Quality Management and Educational Process Natalia DUȘCOVA.
The first day of the workshop was devoted to the dynamics analysis of the work done within the framework of the project work packages. Reports from all Moldovan partners were presented and analysed. The head of the CSU Department of Quality Management and Educational Process Natalia NACIOGLO made a presentation on the progress of the project at the University, the documents developed, and the seminars held.
The second day was focused on studying the experience of sustainable development and the experience of internationalization at the University of Leipzig. Colleagues from the University of Leipzig presented the latest achievements in the field of institutional quality assurance and the study programs enhancement based on external evaluation.
The final day of the working visit was devoted to the latest research in the field of development of higher educational institutions. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC) and the representatives of partner universities presented their vision of the prospects for the development of higher education in Moldova.
The workshop finalized with a round table dedicated to the involvement of the Moldovan diaspora in the sustainable development of higher educational institutions in Moldova. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Moldova presented a vision of the possibility for involving the Moldovan academic diaspora in the development of Moldovan universities. A roadmap for piloting a diaspora co-working center in the higher education sector in Moldova was also discussed.
