On April 9, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics, the team student Team Building "Around the World of Economics in One Day" was successfully held, with the participation of 4 teams of students from the Departments of “Economics” and “Accounting and Finance”. The event aimed to develop analytical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and the ability to apply economic knowledge in non-standard situations.
As part of the competition, the teams went through four thematic rounds, each of which required not only knowledge but also a creative approach:
- Quiz Contest — a fast-paced quiz on economic facts and curiosities
- "Sell Anything!" — participants advertised imaginary products (e.g., an umbrella that opens only in sunny weather)
- "Create the City of Dreams!" — students designed unique tourist cities with creative laws and concepts
- "Business from Nothing" — teams had to create a startup from a set of random household items and present it, avoiding clichés
For one and a half hours, participants impressed the audience with original ideas, short sketches, slogans, and genuine enthusiasm. The winner was a mixed team of students from groups EUP-24 and EML-24, demonstrating the best combination of creativity, logic, and team cohesion. The prize for the winning team is participation in an exclusive mastermind retreat with top Moldovan entrepreneurs, which will take place in Chișinău in early May 2025. This is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with real business practices, ask questions to experts, and receive valuable recommendations for future professional growth.
