On March 25, 2025, Curaxina Svetlana, Associate professor, Ph.D. in Economics, participated as a jury member in the Business Ideas Competition "Best Business Plan 2025", held at Mikhail Chakir College in Comrat. This event was the local stage of the traditional competition "Cel mai bun plan de afaceri. Ediția 2025". The participants were fourth-year college students. A total of 11 business ideas were presented, including eco-friendly toy production, a Labrador breeding kennel, a book café, clothing upcycling, apitherapy services, and others. The participants confidently presented their projects, demonstrated their products, and received recommendations for developing their business ideas, along with constructive criticism in some cases. The jury, consisting of Svetlana Curaxina, Tatiana Spatarenko (Master of Economics, Deputy Head of the Main Department for Economic Development and Tourism of ATU Gagauzia), and Natalia Tumba (Master of Law, Lecturer at M. Chakir College), highlighted several outstanding projects. As a result of the competition, all participants were awarded certificates, while the winners received diplomas and prizes. Svetlana Curaxina informed the participants that the most promising ideas could take part in the Comrat State University Business Ideas Competition.
