On January 23, 2025, the final conference was held to present the results of the professional internship of second-year master’s students from group MPG-23 of the second cycle of studies, specializing in "Teaching the Gagauz Language and Literature in Pre-University Educational Institutions." From November 11 to December 15, 2024, students underwent pedagogical training in educational institutions of Gagauzia. The purpose of the internship was to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies, gain practical skills and competencies, and master advanced teaching methods. During the internship, students familiarized themselves with the educational institution, the subject teacher, the class teacher, and the assigned class. They studied the documentation of the lyceum/gymnasium and EDA (Educational and developmental association), prepared and conducted trial and control lessons in the Gagauz language, as well as an extracurricular event. As part of the defense, Evdochia Dragni and Maria Kîlcik took children from the preparatory group of EDA"Родничек" (where they had their internship) on an excursion to Comrat State University. The children performed a small concert program prepared especially for the university staff. We express our gratitude to the director of EDA, the Gagauz language teachers, and the music education teachers for organizing the event. Internship supervisors from educational institutions noted the high level of theoretical preparation, as well as the practical skills and abilities of students in Gagauz language and literature. They highlighted the students’ strong methodological training, enthusiasm, ability to establish contact with students, independence in selecting engaging didactic materials, and use of effective and innovative teaching methods in Gagauz language and literature lessons. The detailed reports presented at the final conference fully reflected the planned activities of the students in educational institutions, and the high grades confirmed the successful completion of the professional internship.
