Between May 12–16, 2025, academic staff from Comrat State University (CSU) took part in the 3rd International Academic Staff Training Week, hosted by Eskişehir Osmangazi University in Turkey. The event brought together representatives from across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, promoting intercultural dialogue and collaboration in higher education.
The CSU delegation included Dr. Liudmila Ibrisim, Dr. Olga Sciuchina, Dr. Tatiana Sandu, who joined colleagues from partner institutions in a dynamic program focused on internationalization strategies, Erasmus+ cooperation, and digital transformation in university governance.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in a series of workshops, presentations, and cultural activities designed to foster networking and the exchange of best practices. CSU representatives had the opportunity to present their university’s international development goals and to explore new areas of academic collaboration with fellow attendees.
"It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen CSU’s presence in the international academic community," said Dr. Olga Sciuchina, reflecting on the experience. "We have made valuable contacts and gained insights into innovative practices that we hope to apply at our university."
The program also featured guided campus tours, cultural excursions in Eskişehir, and discussions on joint project opportunities under the Erasmus+ framework. As a result of these engagements, CSU has initiated dialogue on potential student and staff mobility agreements with several new institutions.
Participation in events such as the International Academic Staff Training Week aligns with CSU’s strategic goal to enhance its global outreach and academic cooperation. The university remains committed to developing partnerships that enrich the professional development of its staff and contribute to the internationalization of education in Republic of Moldova.
