The Lecturer from Comrat State University Participated in the 6th International Erasmus+ Staff Week in Türkiye

From May 12 to 16, 2025, Dr. Güllü Karanfil, the lecturer at the Department of Gagauz Philology and History of the Faculty of National Culture of Comrat State University, participated in the 6th International Erasmus+ Staff Week under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program, organized by Sivas Cumhuriyet University (Sivas, Türkiye).

The event brought together 33 lecturers from 12 countries around the world, serving as a unique international platform for sharing experiences, discussing teaching methods, and developing academic cooperation. As part of the program, participants engaged in seminars, met with colleagues, and presented the specific features of their national education systems. During the visit, the CSU lecturer met with the dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Education at Cumhuriyet University. Special attention during the meeting was given to the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language and approaches to teaching non-native students. Dr. Güllü Karanfil also held an open lecture for students and faculty members on the topic "The Role of the Gagauz Language in the Education System of Gagauzia", which sparked lively interest and active discussion among participants. In addition to the academic program, the organizers prepared a rich cultural agenda: participants visited museums, historical monuments, and architectural landmarks of the city of Sivas, which provided deeper insight into the cultural heritage of the region.

Such events play a vital role in strengthening international cooperation, developing professional connections, sharing knowledge, and improving the quality of education. Comrat State University expresses its gratitude to the organizers at Sivas Cumhuriyet University and the Erasmus+ program for the opportunity to participate, as well as for the warm hospitality and the high level of event organization.
