The event was opened by Dr., assoc.prof. Rodica CRUDU and UPGRADE project manager. She outlined the goal of the workshop: to define, establish, and agree on the scope, sequencing, and timeline for conducting an electronic survey aimed at tracking graduates' employability. She also emphasized the importance of identifying the needs of target groups and selecting data collection methods using modern digital tools.
Dr. Rodica CRUDU further highlighted the significance of digital solutions that enhance the efficiency of data collection and improve its analytical processing. According to her, conducting an electronic survey will allow for a more accurate assessment of the employment dynamics of graduates, identify the key factors influencing their successful employment, and optimize mechanisms for supporting professional development.
Following this, Dr. Nadejda VELISHCO, Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, presented the national indicators for monitoring graduates' employability, stressing their importance in shaping educational policy. She also reviewed the current legal framework, emphasizing its crucial role in the accreditation process of educational institutions.
Additionally, the results of a study conducted by the National Institute of Economic Research of ASEM (NICE) were presented. This research, carried out within the "HIGHER EDUCATION IN MOLDOVA" (PÎSM) project and financed by the World Bank, revealed the main trends and challenges faced by young professionals in the Republic of Moldova during the employment process, providing essential data for further analysis and planning.
