On December 12, 2024, the X National Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems and Challenges of Regional Economy in Globalization” was held at Comrat State University. The event gathered leading experts from 6 research and higher education institutions from Republic Moldova.
The conference was attended by 71 researchers who presented 57 scientific papers within five sections:
- Economics, Management, Marketing;
- Concept of development of the economy of agriculture and agro-industrial complex of the region;
- Accounting, analysis and audit;
- Investment and financial management;
- Modern information technologies in business.
Among the guests of the conference, who made welcoming remarks, were:
- Svetlana Genova , doctor of economic sciences, conference organizer, pro-rector for science and international relations of USC;
- Alexandr Gheorghitsa, Head of the Monitoring Department of the Regional Development Agency, ATU Gagauzia;
- Cara Vladimir, Executive Director of the Association of Businessmen of Gagauzia NEXT;
- Kara Lilia , chief specialist of the department of public procurement Primaria m. Comrat;
- Lambru Andrei, Director of Agrarian-Technical College of Svetlii village, m. Comrat;
- Aculova Olga, Head of Internal Control and Quality Assurance Department, Mihail Cakir College, m. Comrat.
The presented topics of reports and articles cover the main problems in the field of economics, management, marketing, finance, as well as opportunities and perspectives for achieving sustainable development goals. There were also presented reports devoted to the practical implementation of sustainable development principles on the example of specific regions.
