Open Lectures for Students and Master's Students of the Faculty of Economics at Comrat State University by Professors from the Republic of Turkey

On May 7, as part of the International Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Week, held at Comrat State University from May 5 to 9, 2025, open lectures were conducted at the Faculty of Economics for Students and Master's Students of the Department of Economics and the Department of Accounting and Finance.

For first-cycle and second-cycle students Dr. Mehmet Sedat Uğur from Çankırı Karatekin University gave a lecture on "On Basic Principles in Economics and Main Economic Indicators." In this lecture, the speaker introduced the students to the fundamental principles of economic science, the role and functions of key economic agents, key macroeconomic indicators, and the importance of these indicators for assessing the state of the economy and forming economic policy.

Dr. Özgür Altuntaş from Pamukkale University delivered a lecture on "Exchange Rate: Concepts and Formation Mechanisms." The lecturer explained the concept of the exchange rate and its types, the factors influencing the formation of exchange rates, including the demand and supply of currencies, inflation, interest rates, central bank interventions, as well as the impact of the exchange rate on foreign economic relations and internal economic stability.

Both lectures took place in Room 106 of the Faculty of Economics. Students and master's students from both departments actively participated in the discussions, asked questions, and expressed their gratitude to the guests for the interesting and valuable materials.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and the Heads of the Departments expressed their appreciation to the guests for the engaging and informative lectures, which contributed to the expansion of students' and master's students' knowledge, as well as the development of international cooperation and strengthening ties between educational institutions.
