At the Faculty of National Culture, in the Department of Culture and Arts of Comrat State University, an open lesson on the subject "Choral Conducting" was held

In accordance with the work plan of the quality commissioner in the Department of Culture and Arts for the 2024-2025 academic year, an open lesson on the subject "Choral Conducting" was conducted with second-year student Mutсoglo Anastasia (group PM-23, specialty 0114.12 "Muzică"). The lesson was taught by Olga Terzi, with Tatiana Mutсoglo as the accompanist.

Lesson Topic: Mastering professional skills and abilities in conducting. Working on a musical piece.

Lesson Objective: To develop students' professional skills in choral conducting, effectively interact with the accompanist, and clearly and expressively convey musical ideas.

The lesson consisted of the following stages:

  1. Introductory discussion;
  2. Warm-up and preparation (physical exercises for hands, shoulders, and back);
  3. Practical part (working on musical pieces, interaction with the accompanist);
  4. Reflection;
  5. Individual student assignment.

The lesson was aimed at developing professional skills in choral conducting through work on a musical piece. During the class, the student improved their technique, learned to interact with the accompanist, controlled tempo, dynamics, and musical interpretation. The lesson included theoretical analysis of the piece, physical warm-up, and practical work on the choral part. The main focus was on gesture accuracy, expressiveness in conducting, and the ability to convey musical ideas.
