On November 10, 2024, the round table dedicated to International Accountant Day was held at Comrat State University (CSU). The event, organized by the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Faculty of Economics in collaboration with the Department of Continuing Education and Career Development at CSU, was dedicated to International Accountant Day. During the meeting, students and faculty members of the department discussed significant aspects and the demand for the accounting profession, as well as the prospects for applying artificial intelligence in this field. Students presented reports covering modern trends and opportunities in the profession. Following the event, the moderators, Assoc. Prof., PhD Tatiana Cerga and University Assist. Lect. Inna Zlatovcena drafted a resolution. All participants in the round table received certificates confirming their active interest in the development of the profession and the implementation of innovative methods in accounting practices. The practice of delivering presentations and engaging in discussions at round tables enables students and teachers to exchange knowledge, discuss pressing issues in the profession, and explore new perspectives for future professional and career development.
