The Department of Culture and Arts of Comrat State University to Hold a Round Table on "Preserving Folklore Traditions in the Works of Gagauz Composers"

 

On March 21, 2025 the Department of Culture and Arts of Comrat State University (СSU) will host a round table discussion titled "Preserving Folklore Traditions in the Works of Gagauz Composers." The event will take place at the Museum of Musical Instruments – Auditorium 310 (Administrative Building) at 10:00 a.m.

Participants of the round table:
Guests from the Republic of Turkey and Russia, professors of the Department of Culture and Arts, first- and second-cycle students, teachers from music and educational schools of UTA Gagauzia (Republic of Moldova), as well as music directors from kindergartens and colleges

Speakers:

  • Dimitri Gagauz – Master of Arts of the Republic of Moldova, composer, Honored Cultural Worker of Gagauzia (ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova);
  • Ivan Celac – PhD, Associate Professor at the Ankara Conservatory of Music, academician, composer (Republic of Turkey);
  • Lazar Caloev – Honored Artistic Worker of Transnistria, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Wind Instruments of the Transnistrian Institute of Arts named after A. Rubinstein;
  • Mihail Rotar – Film composer (Republic of Moldova);
  • Anneta Biuc – Aspiring composer, Master’s student at the Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts of the Republic of Moldova (Republic of Moldova);
  • Vitali Todorov – PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Culture and Arts at CSU (ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova);
  • Natalia Barbaneagra – Honored Lecturer of Gagauzia, Concertmaster, Lecturer at the Department of Culture and Arts (ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova);
  • Tatiana Mutcoglo – Honorary Lecturer of Culture of Gagauzia, Lecturer at the Department of Culture and Arts (ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova);
