On April 23, 2026, a Student Ecology Olympiad was held at Comrat State University, organized by the Faculty of Agrarian Technologies.

The Olympiad brought together students from various faculties of the university, as well as students from regional colleges, including the M. Ciachir College and the Agrarian Technical College of Svetly.

Participants demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to apply their knowledge in practice when solving case-based tasks related to environmental issues in Moldova and the Gagauzia region.

The Olympiad consisted of several stages, including a written test and practice-oriented tasks.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were as follows:
1st place – Sergey Dimov, student of the Faculty of Agrarian Technologies of Comrat State University
2nd place – Marina Terzi, student of the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University
3rd place – Maria Kurkina, student of the Agrarian Technical College, Svetly

The winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative prizes, while all participants received certificates and valuable experience contributing to their professional development.

The organizers express their gratitude to all participants and note the high level of interest among young people in environmental protection and sustainable development.
