For the first time, a bachelor's thesis was presented in English at the Agri-Technological Faculty of CSU

At the Agri-Technological Faculty of Comrat State University (CSU), students successfully completed their studies and defended their bachelor's theses in the specialty "Engineering and Management in Industries." This year, special attention was given to a student who, for the first time in the faculty's history, presented his thesis in English. Andrei Bulgarash, a graduate from the village of Congaz, defended his bachelor's thesis, which was fully written and presented in English. As noted by the Dean of the Faculty, Serghei Cara, Habilitated doctor, Associate professor, foreign language proficiency plays an important role in students' development and opens up new opportunities, including participation in international educational programs such as Erasmus+, DAAD, MEVLANA, Fulbright. “This is a significant step forward both for the student and for the entire faculty. We encourage students to study foreign languages as it supports their academic and professional growth,” emphasized the dean. The thesis was prepared in close collaboration with Comrat State University Professor, Dr. Ali Coşkan from the Republic of Turkey (Isparta University of Applied Sciences). Throughout the year, he taught courses at CSU in Turkish and English, supervised the student’s research, and participated in the final examination. “The cooperation between CSU and universities in the Republic of Turkey has been ongoing for several years. Agreements have been signed between agricultural faculties, and joint projects are being implemented. Andrei showed dedication and successfully completed the task. His English-written thesis has important practical relevance,” stated Professor Dr. Ali Coşkan. The graduate shared his thoughts about the unique experience: “I wrote my bachelor’s thesis in close collaboration with a professor from Turkey — Ali Coşkan. For me, it was a new experience: no one at our faculty had ever submitted a thesis in English or worked with a foreign academic advisor before. I encourage all students not to be afraid to try something new and to take every opportunity for professional growth.” In 2025, a total of 14 students successfully graduated from the Agri-Technological Faculty of CSU with a degree in "Engineering and Management in Industries" (first cycle studies).
