
Comrat State University hosted an introductory meeting with Doğukan Bayesen from Necmettin Erbakan University (Konya, Türkiye), a doctoral student in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, who will undertake an internship at the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Economics at Comrat State University from May 25 to July 25, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme.
As part of the visit, a meeting was organized with the Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, the Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Activities, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, as well as the internship supervisor from the Department of Economics. During the meeting, the parties discussed the main goals and objectives of the upcoming internship, the plan of scientific and practical activities, areas of academic cooperation, and opportunities for exchanging experience in the fields of gastronomy, tourism, economics, and sustainable development. Particular attention was paid to the content and organization of the internship, the key areas of the doctoral student’s scientific and practical activities, as well as the expected outcomes of the practical training within the Erasmus+ programme.
The internship will enable the doctoral student to expand professional and research competencies, become acquainted with the educational and scientific activities of CSU, and participate in the academic life of the university.
