From June 30 to July 4, 2025, the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, paid a working and academic visit to Karabük University (Türkiye) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program.

During the visit, an official meeting took place with the Rector of Karabük University, Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık. In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the fields of higher education and science. As a result of the meeting, a new bilateral inter-university partnership agreement was signed. The agreement aims to expand academic mobility for faculty, students, and administrative staff, implement joint educational and research projects, organize scientific conferences, seminars, and roundtables, and exchange best practices in digitalization and the management of educational processes. As part of his visit, the Rector of Comrat State University visited various faculties of Karabük University, where he became acquainted with their material and technical resources, educational infrastructure, laboratories, and libraries. Special attention was given to modern methods of organizing the educational process and the use of digital technologies in teaching. Serghei Zaharia held meetings with the faculty management, teaching staff, academic and administrative personnel, during which they discussed issues of international cooperation and exchanged experiences in management, academic mobility, and innovative approaches in education.
