Students of the Faculty of National Culture at Comrat State University successfully completed the Erasmus+ mobility program at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Türkiye

From July 8 to September 7, 2025, students of the specialty “Gagauz and Turkish Language and Literature” of the Department of Gagauz History and Philology, Faculty of National Culture, Olga Chiosea and Inesa Foltea, completed a professional internship at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Republic of Türkiye, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships program.

During the two months, the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the higher education system of Türkiye, learn more about the country’s rich culture and traditions, and explore the distinctive region of Cappadocia, famous for its unique history and architectural landmarks. The internship took place at the Department of Turkology and the International Relations Office of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. The students actively participated in departmental activities, carried out research assignments, studied academic literature, and used all the resources of the university library. In addition, Olga and Inesa improved their language skills by attending Turkish language courses at the Turkish Language Teaching Center (TÖMER). The knowledge and experience they gained became an important step in their professional and personal development. In their free time, the students took part in Turkish Cultural Days, attended concerts, theater performances, and museums, and joined excursions to the historical and cultural sites of Cappadocia. These activities allowed them to better experience the atmosphere of the region and broaden their cultural horizons.
