On November 3, 2025, Comrat State University hosted the official opening ceremony of the 2nd International Staff Mobility Week Erasmus+, which takes place from November 3 to 7, 2025. This event marks an important milestone in the university’s international activities, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation, sharing experience, and developing partnerships with foreign universities. Within this week, CSU welcomes five lecturers from Türkiye — from Isparta University of Applied Sciences and Hatay Mustafa Kemal University — who are carrying out their academic mobility at our university.
The distinguished guests of the opening ceremony were Ms. Eda Güç, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Comrat, and Ms. Claudia Melinte, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova. Their presence emphasized the significance of this event for the development of international cooperation and academic mobility in the region. The ceremony was also attended by faculty members and students of Comrat State University, who showed great interest in the week’s program and the activities of the invited professors. On behalf of the university administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Ghenova, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating everyone on the opening of the International Week, expressing gratitude to the guests for their visit, emphasizing the importance of expanding international collaboration, and wishing all participants a successful and productive week. Throughout the week, the invited lecturers will hold a series of lectures and seminars covering current topics in the fields of agriculture and linguistics. These sessions will provide CSU students and staff with an excellent opportunity to broaden their knowledge, exchange experiences, and establish new academic contacts.
