Starting from August 23, 2024, work has commenced on the major renovation of the 3rd floor of the north wing of the dormitory at Comrat State University (CSU). This important infrastructure project for our university has been made possible thanks to the financial support from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova (MEC RM). The expert working group of MEC RM reviewed, approved, and allocated funding for the project – a request for additional funding for 2024 for CSU in the amount of 700 000 lei for the major renovation of the 3rd floor of the dormitory. The implementation of the project includes co-financing from CSU's own funds amounting to 200 000 lei. The major renovation work involves comprehensive activities to update the infrastructure of the 3rd floor of the CSU Student Dormitory. Specifically, in the corridor and recreation area: there will be a complete wall cladding, new flooring installed, doors in the blocks replaced, and updated electrical wiring. All these changes are aimed at significantly improving the living conditions for CSU students. The renovation project is designed to create a more comfortable and safer environment for students, which is a priority for our university. Updating the Student Dormitory's infrastructure will not only improve the quality of life for students but also create a more modern and attractive educational, relaxation, and living environment. Stay tuned for news to keep up with further updates and stages of the renovation (the photo shows the situation at the start of the major renovation work in the corridor and recreation area of the 3rd floor of the CSU Student Dormitory).
