On November 4, 2024, the online training commenced as part of the activities under the Erasmus+ #erasmusplus ENRICHER hubs #enricherhubs project titled “Developing Green Tourism Concepts through Education.” The training involves members from Comrat State University, including Doctor Habilitat, Professor of the Department of Economics Alla Levitskaya; Doctor Habilitat, University Lecturer of the "Private Law" department Natalia Shchukina; and Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Economics Natalia Doncheva. The training program is quite intensive, covering various aspects of planning and implementing green tourism technologies in the activities of tourism service providers. The daily program includes lecture sessions and practical assignments, which are completed by university teams and presented at the end of each day. The lectures are conducted by members of the project team from partner universities in EU countries (partners of Ulysseus): Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland (HHUAS, project coordinator), Management Center Innsbruck, Austria (MCI), and the University of Genoa, Italy (UniGe). Of particular interest, especially for use in teaching, is the discussion and study of topics such as the design of tourist services, as a process of creating and developing new ideas, concepts, and solutions to improve or introduce innovations into services, as well as the adoption of eco-friendly and sustainable practices in the hospitality industry. During practical assignments, Comrat State University (CSU) team members share examples of successful practices in organizing tourism businesses in the ATU Gagauzia, as well as their experiences with the application and implementation of green tourism technologies. Notably, in January 2025, project team members from partner universities will come to CSU for training, which will include familiarization visits to successful representatives of the tourism business operating in Gagauzia. The training is organized within the Erasmus+ #erasmusplus ENRICHER hubs #enricherhubs project titled “Developing Green Tourism Concepts through Education” (project number: 101082919), funded by the European Union and implemented by consortium members: project coordinator (grant holder) #Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences #MCI The Entrepreneurial School #University of Genova #USM #Faculty of Economic Sciences, USM #USPEE “Constantin Stere” #KDU #Comrat State University #Kutaisi State University #Caucasus University #Akaki Tsereteli State University.
