As part of the "DESIGNING GREEN TOURISM CONCEPT THROUGH LEARNING" project
As part of the ENRICHER hubs project, an international online event—a meeting and presentation—was held on December 15, 2025, to share best practices and showcase the best student business initiatives developed as part of Business Challenges. Students from participating universities, under the guidance of faculty, developed their original business ideas in the tourism sector, aimed at improving tourism infrastructure. Business idea competitions were held at each university, and winners were selected, one of whom presented their idea at the meeting.
Representatives from Akaki Tsereteli State University (Georgia) and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) addressed the participants with welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of international academic collaboration, entrepreneurial thinking, and practice-oriented training for students—future specialists in the tourism industry.
During the event, winning teams from the following universities in Moldova and Georgia presented their projects: Comrat State University, University of European Political and Economic Studies, Moldova State University, Caucasus University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, and Telavi State University.
Comrat State University was represented by students from the Faculty of Economics, Alina Novak, Tatiana Dragan, and Karina Stancu, who presented their project, "Creation of a Honey Museum in the Village of Chismikoi (Agro-Pension "Harman")," developed under the supervision of Alla Levitskaia, professor of the Department of Economics and expert of the ENRICHER hubs project. The project aims to develop entrepreneurship, tourism, and the promotion of local products. The project attracted the participants' interest due to its combination of economic, cultural, and educational components. Following the presentations, a discussion and exchange of opinions took place, during which faculty from partner universities provided professional comments, recommendations, and commended the high level of preparation of the student teams.
The event concluded with final comments and remarks from the organizers of the online meeting, representatives from Akaki Tsereteli State University (Georgia) and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland). Participants noted the importance of such online meetings as an effective platform for sharing best practices, developing international cooperation, and supporting student initiatives within the ENRICHER hubs project.
