On April 7, 2025, Comrat State University hosted the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference named after Professor Dmitri  Parmacli, organized by the Research Center “Progress” named after Professor Dmitri  Parmacli under the Faculty of Economics.

The aim of the conference was to discuss current issues and prospects of socio-economic development, exchange scientific ideas, and strengthen international cooperation in the fields of economics, finance, and management.

The conference brought together representatives of scientific and educational institutions from the Republic of Moldova, Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Turkey. Among the participants were renowned scholars, professors, researchers, and practitioners.

The conference was held in six sections, covering topics such as modern economic development and management strategies, sustainability of the agro-industrial complex, innovations in marketing and logistics, transformation of financial systems, taxation, and digitalization of the economy.

The reports demonstrated a high level of scientific reasoning and practical significance. Special attention was paid to the integration of science, education, and business, as well as to the role of human capital in the development of regional economies.

As a result of the conference, a resolution was adopted confirming the importance of expanding international scientific cooperation and establishing the annual holding of the conference named after Professor Dmitri  Parmacli at Comrat State University.
