The wrestling team of Comrat State University took part in the National Judo Universiade, held on April 9, 2026, in Chișinău.

The team included students from the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Agriculture, who demonstrated a high level of training, team spirit, and determination to win:
● Artur Dimov – group L-25;
● Nikolay Stefoglo – group L-23;
● Yuri Dyakov – group ETU-23;
● Grigory Chavdar – group L-23;
● Dmitry Tabunshchik – group AIM-22;
● Naji Muradli – group L-25.

As a result of the competition, Comrat State University students won two bronze medals, достойно representing the university at the national level:

Artur Dimov (60 kg weight category)
Nikolay Stefoglo (66 kg weight category)

The team was led by Angela Polevaya-Sekeryanu, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Participation in such competitions contributes to the development of student sports, strengthens the university’s sporting traditions, and promotes judo among young people.

Thanks to the support of the university administration and the unity of the athletes, the team достойно represented CSU and achieved high results.
