On May 12, 2026, the freestyle wrestling team of Comrat State University participated in the National University Championship, adding one silver and one bronze medal to the university’s achievements.
The CSU team was represented by students from the Faculties of Law, Economics, and Agrarian Studies, under the leadership of Angela Polevaia-Secareanu — PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, International Master of Sport.
Results achieved by CSU students:
- Dimov Artur, JPU-25 – Silver medal, 2nd place, 57 kg
- Diacov Iurii, ETU-23 – Bronze medal, 3rd place, 70 kg
- Tabunșcik Dmitrii, AIM-22 – 5th place, 97 kg
- Stefoglo Nicolai, J-23 – participant, 65 kg
- Burgudji Ivan, AIM-22 – participant, 92 kg
We express our sincere gratitude to the administration of Comrat State University for its support, for contributing to the development of student sports, and for creating the necessary conditions for students to participate in national-level competitions.
