Turkey has always been in favor of preserving the autonomy of Gagauzia within the territorial integrity of Moldova, and Turkey has carried out many support projects to strengthen the socio-economic situation of Gagauzia.

On 28 May 2023, I would like to extend my congratulations to Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, who was re-elected as the President of the Republic of Turkey. The election of Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN as the President of the Republic of Turkey for a strong and stable Turkey is also very important for Gagauz Turks. I am grateful to Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN for the contribution of all public institutions in Turkey to the educational diplomacy between Turkey and Moldova.
