Professors of Comrat State University participated in the celebration of the 27th anniversary of the founding of the M.K. Atatürk Turkish Library in the municipality of Comrat (ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova)

On June 26, 2025, professors from Comrat State University (CSU) actively participated in the celebration of the 27th anniversary of the founding of the M.K. Atatürk Turkish Library in the municipality of Comrat (Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, Republic of Moldova). Among the participants were researchers and professors: Kudret Safa GÜMÜŞ, PhD, Üyesi Burcu YILMAZ ÇEBİN, PhD, Şükrü Yurtdışında, PhD, Аssociate professor, who represent our university and actively cooperate with the library.For nearly three decades, the library has become not just a repository of books but an important cultural and educational center for the Gagauz people and all residents of the region. It regularly organizes thematic exhibitions, creative meetings, lectures, and celebrations dedicated to the culture, history, and literature of Turkey and the Gagauz people. These initiatives contribute to strengthening intercultural dialogue and building strong friendly ties.Comrat State University maintains close cooperation with the library aimed at the joint development of cultural and educational projects. University professors regularly conduct open lectures, workshops, and scientific-educational events within the library walls, broadening the horizons of knowledge for students and local residents, and contributing to the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage. During the festive event, participants highlighted the important role of the library in preserving national identity and strengthening cultural ties between the Gagauz and Turkish peoples. All attendees expressed sincere gratitude to the library staff for their invaluable contribution to the development of culture, education, and international cooperation, noting that the joint efforts of the university and the library form a solid foundation for further expanding partnership and exchange of experience.The cooperation of Comrat State University professors with the M.K. Atatürk Turkish Library becomes an important bridge connecting educational and cultural spaces and contributes to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding among the peoples of the region
