On April 10, 2024, the IT Career Expo 2024, organized by Tekwill Comrat, was held at Comrat State University (CSU). For two consecutive years, students from the Faculty of Economics, the Department of Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics (ITMF), the Department of Economics, and the Department of Accounting and Finance have participated in the IT Career Expo, a republican-scale event at Tekwill in Chisinau. This year for the first time such an event was organized in Comrat, which allowed more people interested in the IT field to learn about the opportunities created in the Republic of Moldova for training, internships and employment in IT companies.  The exhibition was attended by IT companies: Simpals, Allied Testing, Tochka Rosta, Power IT, DRON Assistance, and Tekwill Academy Kids. The Comrat Young Technicians Station presented works that delighted exhibition visitors. Comrat State University also participated in the exhibition as an educational institution representing opportunities for education in the IT field. The Faculty of Economics actively engaged as a participant in the exhibition. The ITMF Department, the Department of Economics, and the Department of Accounting and Finance prepared materials for exhibition guests (flyers about specialties with detailed information on educational opportunities at CSU and specialties), a presentation on projects implemented jointly with Tekwill, and initiatives in which CSU has previously participated. The university was lively, with IT companies presenting products they are developing and opportunities for young people. Exhibition participants had the opportunity to attend masterclasses on various topics: "Start Developing Games in Gagauzia," "Tips and Tricks from HR," "Navigation in the Metaverse," "PC Assembly," "AR & VR," "3D Printing," "Drones: Innovations in Agriculture." Dr. Velicova T.G., Assoc. Prof. of the ITMF Department, was invited as a mentor for the masterclass held in auditorium 306 on the topic of "AR & VR." The exhibition's official closing was attended by the rector of CSU, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Zaharia S.C., emphasizing the importance of conducting such events and the openness of Comrat State University to Tekwill initiatives. We express our gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Todorich L.P., for supporting the organization of the event, to the students of the ITMF Department, the Department of Economics, and the Department of Accounting and Finance for their involvement, and to all colleagues who participated in the IT Career Expo 2024 exhibition, thereby demonstrating the potential of the Faculty of Economics and its representatives in training personnel in the IT and economic specialties for the region.
