From May 6 to May 16, 2025, Acting Head of the Department of Gagauz Philology and History, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Mutaf Galina, delivered a series of open lectures at Afyon Kocatepe University (Republic of Türkiye) on the Gagauz language, literature, and culture. The lectures were attended by the Director of the Institute of Social Sciences and Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Professor Dr. Hacı İbrahim Delice, faculty members, as well as students and graduate students studying Turkic languages. Professor Dr. Nadejda Ezakdag donated two of her books, “Gagauz bilmeceleri” and “Valentin Moşkov Besarabya Gagauzlarının Ağızları”, to the department's library.
