Irina Poidolova, lecturer at the Department of Culture and Arts of the Faculty of National Culture of Comrat State University, and Tatyana Matveevna Kazmaly, lecturer of musical disciplines at the M. Ciachir College in Comrat, took part in a television program on the GRT channel.
An interview was broadcast on the regional TV channel GRT, dedicated to the results of the large-scale creative project “Continuum of Music Education: The Path to Mastery,” which brought together students of music schools, college students, and students of Comrat State University. During the conversation, the key stages of the implementation of this unique initiative, aimed at creating a unified educational and cultural space in the region, were presented in detail.
Special attention in the interview was given to the concept of continuity: the project clearly demonstrates the path of a musician’s development from the first steps in school to the professional university level.
The principles of participant selection were also outlined, taking into account not only performance skills but also the ability to work in an ensemble with colleagues of different age groups. The repertoire plan was discussed in detail, including both classical works and compositions based on regional folklore, highlighting the methodological significance of the project in preserving cultural heritage.
While describing the preparation process, particular emphasis was placed on the “behind-the-scenes” methodological work: joint rehearsals, professional consultations, and the exchange of experience between teachers. This broadcast became an important platform for promoting musical art, confirming the need for further development of inter-university cooperation and strengthening professional dialogue across all levels of the art education system in Gagauzia.
The “Continuum” project once again proved its effectiveness as a tool for motivating young talents and enhancing the academic status of regional educational institutions.
