The teachers of the Comrat State University, Honored Worker of Culture Mutkoglo T.D. and Honored Teacher of Gagauzia Barbaniagra N.V. represented the Department of Culture and Arts as members of the jury at the eighth regional competition of pianists from children's music schools "Echoes of Our Era" in Taraclia.

The competition was held in order to preserve and develop the best traditions of performing and music-pedagogical school in the field of piano art. The participants of the competition were divided into four age categories. Before the beginning of the performances, the draw was traditionally held, which determined the order of performances. The obligatory condition of the contest was the performance of a piece by a Moldovan, Bulgarian or Gagauz composer.

The jury was provided with full information on the regulations of the contest. All conditions for professional work were created. The atmosphere of the contest was friendly, creative and excited. Pleasantly impressed by the performances of the contest participants, who performed works of national composers. In the end, a master class was held with the participation of piano teacher A. Vitanova and Doctor, Associate Professor of the Department of Culture and Arts V.N. Todorov, who mesmerized the audience with a rousing performance of the work of Bulgarian composer Petko Steinov "Rechenitsa" from the symphonic poem "Trochian Dances". In general, the competition turned out to be interesting, bright and useful from the point of view of promoting the values of both national and world music.
