
On November 1, 2024, at Comrat State University (CSU), a regional scientific-practical seminar was held at the Department of Culture and Arts on the theme "Music Education Lesson, Music Theory Disciplines in the Children's Music School (CMS): From Past to Future." The event brought together professors from CSU, teachers from lyceums and children's music schools in Comrat and Ceadir-Lunga, as well as music directors from kindergartens. The Head of the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU), Lect., maestru în аrtă Tatiana Șciogoleva, addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of preserving and developing music education and the critical role of educators in this process. The primary goal of the seminar was to strengthen the connection between theory and practice in music education within the educational system. The event format included presentations from participants, exchange of views, and discussion on current issues in the field of music theory and education. The seminar concluded with a summary, a resolution with recommendations for further improvement of educational methods in music education.
The scientific-practical seminar "Music Education Lesson, Music Theory Disciplines in CMS: From Past to Future" featured the following presentations:
- Liudmila Caraclî, music education teacher at Gaidarji Theoretical Lyceum in Comrat: "Symbiosis of Arts through Innovative Technologies as a Basis for Developing Student Competencies";
- Ecaterina Costiucova, teacher of theoretical disciplines at CMS in Ceadir-Lunga: "Developing Children's Ability to Reflect in Verbal and Written Form on Music Perception (Empathy Phenomenon)";
- Anna Cioban, music director at kindergarten in Cismichioi: "Modern Methods and Techniques in Music Education";
- Vladimir Șciogolev, teacher of theoretical disciplines at A. Valcov CMS: "The Problem of Interdisciplinary Connections - Using Music Literature Material in Solfeggio Lessons."
During the seminar, participants heard four presentations covering current methods and advanced approaches to teaching music disciplines. These reports allowed a detailed examination of practical methods for mastering traditions and forms of music education, fostering the development of competencies and interest in music among students. As a result of the scientific-practical seminar "Music Education Lesson, Music Theory Disciplines in CMS: From Past to Future," a resolution aimed at improving educational approaches in music education at the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU) was adopted, which included the following points:
- Include the seminar in the annual event plan of the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU);
- Hold regular discussions on effective methods used by cultural and educational institutions to enhance professional competencies of specialists in music education;
- Invite leading specialists in music pedagogy to participate in department meetings and discuss new curricula;
- Develop a strategy for practical-theoretical cooperation with educational institutions;
- Involve young specialists in methodological platforms.
The adopted resolution reflects a commitment to the further development of the music-educational environment and the support of professionals working in this field.
