Comrat State University the Department of Culture and Arts, in partnership with the Children's Music School (CMS) named after A. Valkov, Comrat municipality, organized a regional scientific-methodological seminar: "Comprehensive Approach to Teaching

On November 15, 2024, Comrat State University (CSU), Department of Culture and Arts, in partnership with the Children's Music School (CMS) named after A. Valсov in Comrat Municipality, held a regional scientific-methodological seminar: "Comprehensive Approach to Teaching in the Piano Classroom." The event was attended by faculty members of the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU), music school teachers, and lecturers from the Comrat Pedagogical College named after M. Chaсir. The seminar opened with welcoming speeches by Timofei Dmitri, Director of the Children's Music School named after A. Valkov; Tatiana Șciogoleva, Head of the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU) and Maestru în Artă Respublica Moldova; and Irina Poidolova, Research Coordinator of the Department of Culture and Arts (CSU). They emphasized the importance of preserving and developing musical education and the pivotal role educators play in this process. The seminar aimed to establish scientific research as a consistent and systematic component of the educational process, while also synthesizing and implementing accumulated teaching experiences. The format included participant presentations, discussions, and the exchange of opinions on pressing issues in musical disciplines. At the conclusion, the outcomes were summarized, and a resolution with recommendations for improving educational methods was adopted.

  • Raisa Șokodei, piano teacher and accompanist, Arts School of Cocieri Commune, Dubasari District, 2nd didactic degree: "Methods of Working on Keyboard Pieces with Elements of Polyphony."
  • Olesea Barladean, piano teacher, Children's Music School named after A. Valcov, Comrat Municipality, 2nd didactic degree; founder, director, and teacher of Moldova's first International School of Modern Vocal "Güneș çancazı," IATS: "Integrative Process in Piano and Vocal Classroom Education."
  • Elena Ianac, piano teacher and accompanist, PU College named after M. Çakir, Comrat Municipality, 2nd didactic degree: "Music Education in College: Integrating Musical Knowledge in Piano Teaching."
  • Zlata Cîssa, violin and piano teacher, Children's Music School named after A. Valcov, Comrat Municipality, 2nd didactic degree: "Impact of Integrated Teaching Methods on Developing Performance Skills and Overall Musical Culture."
  • Vladimir Șciogoleva, teacher of music theory and piano, Children's Music School named after A. Valcov, Comrat: "Syncretic Approach to the Challenges of Pianist Education."

The adopted resolution highlights the importance of implementing modern methodologies and strengthening professional connections among piano educators. Its realization contributes to improving the quality of musical education in the region.
