At the Research Center of Comrat State University, a public lecture titled “The Creative Path of an Outstanding Musicologist, Composer, and Educator” was held, dedicated to the artistic legacy of the Honored Cultural Figure of Gagauzia — Dmitri Gagauz, on the occasion of his birthday.

The speakers of the event were:

-Natalia Barbaneagra – Honored Teacher of Gagauzia, Piano Instructor of the Highest Category, and Accompanist at Comrat State University;

-Tatiana Mutcoglo – Honored Cultural Worker of Gagauzia, Lecturer at Comrat State University;

-Tatiana Șciogoleva – Maestru în artă* of the Republic of Moldova, Head of the Gagauz Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Düz ava”, and Head of the Department of Culture and Arts at Comrat State University.

The event brought together representatives of the regional cultural and educational community, the Maria Marunievici Scientific Research Center of Gagauzia, Comrat State University, the Main Directorate of Culture of Gagauzia, as well as music education institutions of the autonomy.
