From May 15 to June 10, 2024, the Scientific Library of CSU hosted the internship of the first-year students of the M. Chakir College in the specialty "Biblioteconomie și asistența informașionala".

The purpose of the internship was to familiarize themselves with the specialty and to understand the processes and tasks related to library activities.  During the internship, students familiarized themselves with the structure of the library, its main functions, as well as with the peculiarities of library work. The head of practice, head bibliographer N.F.Garchu and library specialists helped the future colleagues to try out their skills in processing incoming literature, serving readers, bibliographic skills. In conclusion, the guys designed an exhibition for the birthday of E.N. Kvilinkova "The spiritual heritage of the Gagauz people through the prism of time and space" and posted information about it on the CSU library's Facebook page. We hope that the acquired knowledge will attract students to a deep and thoughtful study of the profession and make the learning process more exciting.
